Two pieces from the ‘Uhrovska’ collection: [C 106] and [C 272]
The ‘Uhrovska’ collection [1730] is a document that contains 350 gypsy melodies. The collection was apparently compiled by a travelling violinist who attempted to assemble the music of his people into a comprehensive “catalogue”.
